Misericords are sculptures found in medieval Catholic churches. They often represent animals, professions, or many humorous characters.

I turned a few of the designs I particularly liked into stained glass patterns. Eventually, I hope to turn some of these into real glass works. In the meantime, the art of pattern-making is a humbling one; yet it gets me to really think about the properties of glass and how best to use them.
